Emphasis will be placed on success over several projects, regardless of size, where planning problems have been solved to deliver value back to the clients and communities.

Extra credit will be given to those consultants that can demonstrate the delivery of successful sustainable practices in their day-to-day operations and/or projects. Please provide client testimonials where possible.

This category is open to any organisation working within the Yorkshire residential property sector that can demonstrate innovation and dedication in embracing sustainability/positive societal impact in any given project, between June 2021 – June 2022.

We are looking for something unique, that exhibits excellence in addressing climate and environmental issues, as well as social outcomes. Entries should demonstrate how you have exceeded expectations, beyond standard policies, embracing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance).

Judges will be looking for evidence of innovation, how this has impacted on the success of the project, and its potential to positively add to the industry in years to come. This could include changes in design in response to Covid-19.

Entries for this award will derive from property developers or teams who have concluded a significant residential property deal (purchase or sale) between June 2021 and June 2022.

Judges are hoping to award a residential deal which has made a significant impact on the landscape of the Yorkshire residential property sector.

This could be related to knowledge, lateral thinking, innovation in the structure/securing of the deal, or the positive economic impact the transaction could have in years to come. Judges will use their knowledge of the industry to assess the performance of entrants but are also seeking to reward the wider team involved in the deal. 

Open to all developments of 25+ homes; new builds, conversions, or apartments; for sale or let, in any setting, style or location within Yorkshire.

This category encompasses large scale schemes such as a new district or neighbourhood, or compact urban apartment developments. Judges will be interested in evidence of how the development positively impacts the surrounding area and benefits those who live there.

Entries must be out of the ground, with at least 1 unit having been completed between the period June 2021 and June 2022.

Open to all developments of 25 homes or less; new builds, conversions, or apartments; for sale or let, in any setting, style or location within Yorkshire.

Judges will be interested to see clear evidence of how the development fits with the local environment, creates a sense of place and allows residents to feel part of a community.

Entries must be out of the ground, with at least 1 unit having been completed between the period June 2021 and June 2022.

This category is open to projects across Yorkshire, comprising spectacular design of any given home/apartment/residential space, completed within the period June 2021 – June 2022. This could be a single building or apartment, a larger development, or a stunning, superbly thought-out interior. Judges will be looking for an outstanding residential design project that combines style and innovation with practicality.

Entries for this award will derive from architectural/design/landscape practices operating within the Yorkshire residential property sector which have made significant contributions to developments in terms of design, deliverability, and control of costs. Entries should demonstrate a broad spectrum of activity and project success within the residential sector and have been completed within the period June 2021 – June 2022.

Judges will look for evidence of innovation in the practices’ approach to planning and site issues and overall quality of building design, as well as aesthetic appearance, originality, functionality, buildability, and cost. Please provide client testimonials where possible.

This category is open to all sized companies building homes in Yorkshire. Judges are keen to see evidence across several areas, including customer service, business performance, innovation and excellence in practice and design, during the period June 2021 – June 2022.

Additional considerations might include impressive levels of community engagement and dedication to sustainability, for both projects and business practice. Please provide client testimonials where possible.

This award will recognise residential buying/letting/estate agencies, operating a maximum of 3 branches, which have demonstrated an outstanding buying, letting or sales record supported by unrivalled service and market research, between June 2021 and June 2022.

Judges will be looking for evidenced market knowledge, customer service and innovation – be sure to reference any specific successes. Please provide client testimonials where possible.

This award recognises residential buying/letting/estate agencies operating a minimum of 4 branches, which have demonstrated an outstanding buying, letting or sales record, supported by unrivalled service and market research, between June 2021 and June 2022.

Judges will be looking for proven market knowledge, customer service and innovation – be sure to reference any specific successes. Please provide client testimonials where possible.

This category aims to reward the industry’s most promising new talent working within residential property in Yorkshire. Entrants can be traditionally trained or come from a non-property background, so long as they’re making an impact on the industry right now.

Age is no barrier, so long as they are relatively new to the industry (within the past 5 years) and are exceeding expectations in forging a new career for themselves.

Submissions should describe how the nominated ‘star’ has demonstrated practice above and beyond expectations, emphasise key achievements that make them stand out from the rest, and demonstrate their potential to contribute to the industry in the future. The entry can be made by the individual or a nomination by someone else.
