Our events are as much about fundraising as they are fun. Tickets for you, your staff or guests helps to change young people's lives.

Waiver*

You are participating in the Rampage on 3rd July 2025 at your own request, will and risk. You should
therefore ensure before partaking in the event that:
You are fit and well and capable of partaking in the Rampage; and you have your own adequate personal
accident, personal effects, medical and other appropriate insurance in place. Please note that Yorkshire
Children’s Charity and any associates of the event will not provide nor cover you for any such insurance
and you must make your own decision as to whether any such insurance is necessary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law Yorkshire Children’s Charity and associates of the event shall not
accept or assume any legal responsibility in connection with the Rampage.
Furthermore, you agree that you have read the information about the Rampage and will comply with all instructions given to you by the Rampage staff, before and during the event.
Statement by participant
I wish to take part in the Rampage. I agree that:
1. I understand I am not covered by any Yorkshire Children’s Charity and associates of the events’
insurance whilst taking part in this activity and that I am responsible for having my own personal
accident and medical insurance as well as any other insurance policy that may be relevant to this
activity;
2. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety (and the safety of my possessions) while
undertaking this activity; to the best of my knowledge and belief, I do not have a medical
condition which might have the effect of making it more likely that I will be involved in an incident
which could result in injury to myself or others;
3. I acknowledge and accept that this activity requires a moderate level of fitness and that I should
not undertake the activity unless I am physically able to. I acknowledge and accept that this
activity may be dangerous and there is a risk of personal injury;
4. In the event of an accident or loss or damage to any of my personal Yorkshire Children’s Charity
and associates of the event will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury
arising from or in connection with the bike ride (except for death or personal injury caused by its
negligence) and I shall indemnify and hold Yorkshire Children’s Charity and associates of the
event harmless for all liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against it arising out
of, or in any way connected with, my participation in this event (except for death or personal injury caused by its negligence).
5. I will not have consumed alcohol prior and during the bike ride
6. I understand the course was open to scout prior to the start of the event
7. I understand the course excludes the car parking bays and shall not be ridden during the event
8. I understand that the lift must be used to get down the car park and I am not to ride my bike down
9. In the event I do not return the timing transponder chip provided to me I will be liable for the cost of replacing it to a value of £200.
