Do you fancy a day of sublime riding through the stunning Yorkshire countryside, starting with breakfast on the magnificent grounds of Grantley Hall and finishing up with a gourmet BBQ?

How about the opportunity to view some of the latest and greatest bikes in one place, with the option of adding two nights of luxury accommodation, including five-star cuisine and access to fantastic spa facilities?

And what if we told you that you’d be supporting a damn good cause?

That’s exactly what Yorkshire Children’s Charity have organised with The Yorkshire Ride ‘Owt: a charity event aimed at passionate bikers who also have a taste for the finer things in life.

An event fit for biking royalty

The event commences in style on 17th May with breakfast on the lawn at the luxurious Grantley Hall, attended by special guest, Isle of Man Senior TT winner Dean Harrison.

Guests will join for breakfast, and once everyone is fed, the main event will begin: a day of superb riding through the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales, home to some of our favourite riding in the country.

Rolling hills give way to a desolate but stunning landscape where ribbons of tarmac flow like the streams that carve their way through the valleys. It’s idyllic, and it’s perfect for bikers.

Along the way, riders will enjoy a refreshment pitstop in Helmsley for lunch, before continuing the ride back to Grantley Hall.

Back at the hotel, there will be stalls set up by sponsors of the event where the latest bikes from Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Kawasaki and BSA will be on display, along with riding gear and merchandise. And if you haven’t yet had your fill of riding, Inch Perfect Trials will also be set up with some competitive surprises…

A gourmet BBQ is provided to end the day. There is also the option to upgrade to the VIP package where guests can stay in one of Grantley Hall’s luxurious deluxe rooms for two nights of luxury and comfort in the magnificent hotel.

A wonderful day’s riding in support of charity

If you ask us, it sounds like the perfect day out: a chance to ride some of the best biking roads in the country with a great group of people, enjoy fantastic food, and see some of the most desirable bikes all in one place.

Plus, it’s for a great cause, helping children and young people across the region who are living at a disadvantage, be that due to sickness, disability or financial deprivation.
