Yorkshire Children’s Charity doesn’t solely provide financial help. We also offer friendship and support, assisting you with the changing needs of your child as they grow up.

Our Vision: We will reach every child in Yorkshire who needs our help and make childhood poverty a thing of the past.

Our work must be fun. We want to give all children and young people the chance to be their best, and make life more manageable for those who struggle. Being young is all about having fun, and happy children are the vital outcome to our work.

My background is in the corporate world. Yet ten years ago, I was offered the opportunity to work for a children’s charity. I can safely say I’ve never looked back. I never take my position for granted. It’s a privilege to be able to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children and gain insight into the struggles our families face.
