The Yorkshires. Business Awards finalists revealed

Yorkshire Children’s Charity’s annual event returns on Friday 17 November, bringing together the best and brightest of the region’s businesses to celebrate success and support children living at a disadvantage across the county.

Taking place at the Queen’s Hotel, the awards promise an opportunity to recognise achievement in business, raise funds to support local children, and network with the region’s leading business professionals from a range of sectors. Tickets are on sale now from the Yorkshire Children’s Charity website.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity are delighted to welcome Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox, start of Channel 4’s ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ and former Royal Marine Commando, as keynote speaker. Foxy will draw on his unique experiences in the special forces and take questions from the audience, and the event will be compered by Isabel Webster of GB News.

This year’s judging process was more difficult than ever, as judges whittled down over 1000 top performing Yorkshire-based companies to just 21, judged against a range of criteria including their ESG impact. On awards day, winners will be announced for categories including: Large Corporate of the Year, Mid-Market Corporate of the Year, ESG Excellence, Innovation in Business and Business Leader of the Year.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity are pleased to announce that the following companies are finalists for 2023:

The group who make the most profit will be awarded the trophy, with all profits going to fund specialist equipment for disabled young people in Yorkshire.

Charlotte Farrington, CEO at Yorkshire Children’s Charity said: “We are delighted to be hosting our second Yorkshires. Business Awards and are especially looking forward to hearing from Foxy, who we’re sure will bring an incredible energy to the event.

“The awards give us a unique opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the region’s best business minds, as well as acknowledging Yorkshire’s future business stars with the Young Entrepreneur Challenge. If that wasn’t enough, the event will gather vital funds to support the thousands of local children who rely on our support”.

Event supporters include: Rothschild & Co, Core Telecom, Leeds Beckett Enterprise Services, Clarion, IDEAS That Work, Grant Thornton, the Yorkshire Post, Slingsby Gin, Prohibition PR and Impulse Decisions.
