We are gutted to let you know that The Rampage 2024 can’t go ahead on 4th July 2024.
The aim of The Rampage is to raise money for Yorkshire Children’s Charity, to get bikes to inner-city children, and to have fun with like-minded individuals taking on a unique cycling challenge in the heart of Leeds.
The message we really didn’t want to write…
As a charity, it is so important for us to be transparent with our supporters as to why we have made this difficult decision. Simply put, we haven’t had the same level of uptake for the event as we have in previous years, meaning the event isn’t financially viable.
As a team, it’s not in our nature to give up, but sometimes you have to recognise when to call it a day and accept that the best decision to make is the hardest one.
We recognise that the world has changed since The Rampage first launched, and with it the wants and needs of our supporters continue to evolve.
We’re going to use this break as an opportunity to take a step back and evaluate what makes this cycling challenge so unique, and we will do our utmost to come back stronger than ever in 2025!
We can’t thank the brands, individuals and companies enough who so kindly offered to support the event – your hard work behind the scenes has not gone unnoticed. Thank you also to those of you that had signed up to take part in the event, a member of the team will be in touch with you directly.
Thank you for your understanding!
The team at Yorkshire Children’s Charity and The Rampage
